Brian C. Sedlock, CPA, brings nearly 25 years of experience in accounting and finance across a broad range of industries, serving in both publicly and privately held businesses ranging from $40 million to $6.6 billion in size.
Mr. Sedlock has served as Plant Controller with a $2.2 billion publicly traded food manufacturer and Regional Chief Financial Officer for a $6.6 billion publicly traded distributor of pharmaceuticals. He was also previously Vice-President of Finance for a $40 million privately held mid-market conglomerate specializing in plumbing wholesale and the chemicals and adhesives industry, and Chief Financial Officer for a $50 million pipe fabricator for process, power and nuclear piping systems.
Mr. Sedlock has spent the last 15 years focused on a multitude of areas including crisis management, restructuring and turnaround, corporate renewal, workout, refinancing and recapitalization, mergers and acquisitions, divestiture and optimizing business performance. The foundation for his prior success has been built on open, honest and transparent communications with all stakeholders and the ability to generate creative solutions to support companies in meeting their business objectives and maximizing value for all stakeholders through positive outcomes.
His prior accomplishments include development and implementation of financial systems including inventory control, standard cost systems, cash flow forecasts, financial dashboards and centralization of key financial tasks. In addition, Mr. Sedlock has a proven history of successful restructuring through site and operational consolidations allowing for increased productivity and company profitability.
Mr. Sedlock holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Akron and is a resident of Massillon, Ohio.
