By the time a company makes the decision to hire us, it is operating in an environment that few, if any, of its existing management have experienced.
Centrus begins working closely with existing management to evaluate the current business status and identify the key issues creating the turmoil in the company. At the end of this brief review period, Centrus recommends alternative turnaround strategies, initial actions plans, and identifies funding and management resources available to the company to aid in the turnaround.
Our depth of experience allows us to adjust quickly to new or unusual circumstances, working side-by-side with existing management, to implement the actions outlined in our initial recommendations. We have a proven five-step program for this work. We will:
1. Ascertain the current and future viability of the business
2. Determine if adequate management resources are available to implement a turnaround plan
3. Begin emergency steps to stabilize cash flow and "stop the bleeding." This typically includes the eliminating of non-performing resources of the company that might interfere with the turnaround
4. Restructure the business as appropriate to be consistent with the strategic plan, a process that may or may not include changes in the management team operating the business
5. Return to normal operations with a focus upon sustainable profitable growth
