Rush Limbaugh, Howard Stern, Paul Harvey .move over. One of the countrys most prominent Certified Turnaround Professionals, Bob Cohen, founder and president of The Centrus Group in Akron, Ohio, is now the host of his own syndicated radio talk show concerning business turnarounds. The name of the show, "It costs a lot of money to go broke," is one of many aphorisms Cohen has penned over his 20 years in the business. And its one example of the lively, tongue-in-cheek style that Cohen will bring to the relatively obscure, but important, business of managing turnarounds for companies in a financial or business crisis.
Cohen believes in bringing creativity and "out-of-the-box" thinking to the business of turnaround management. And he avoids giving his clients pat answers and conventional wisdom for what is always a unique set of circumstances. He plans for his radio show to demonstrate that creativity through a combination of thought-provoking wit and sharp, business insight.
The one-hour show airs live every Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST on 999 AM in Providence, Rhode Island, and from 11:00 a.m. to Noon, MST on KFNX 1000 AM out of Phoenix, Arizona. The show can also be heard streamed live at 1:00 p.m. EST on www.renaissanceradio.com.
